Current status: We're continuing to monitor the rollback of the previous update as it progresses. We expect this will remediate impact once completed.
Scope of impact: Any user may be impacted and may be unable to sign in to the Microsoft Defender XDR portal.

Root cause: A recent update to the authentication system that enables access to the Microsoft Defender XDR portal contains a configuration issue which is leading to impact.

User impact: Users may be unable to sign in to the Microsoft Defender XDR portal.
Current status: We've investigated the affected service infrastructure and determined a recent update to the authentication system that enables access to the Microsoft Defender XDR portal contains a code issue which is leading to impact. We've initiated a rollback of this update to remediate the impact and we're continuing to analyze the service health to see if any additional actions may be required.
Scope of impact: Any user may be impacted and may be unable to sign in to the Microsoft Defender XDR portal.
