OVHcloud Outage History

OVHcloud experienced a major incident affecting compute instances in the DE1 region from 12:33 to 13:35 UTC on February 27, 2026, caused by an unexpected underlying infrastructure malfunction. Some instances became unreachable, preventing customers from accessing and using their instances in the affected region. The incident was resolved after approximately 1.1 hours once teams identified the root cause and restored service.

OVHcloud experienced a major incident affecting compute instances in the GRA5, GRA7, GRA9, and GRA11 regions, causing some instances to become unreachable and preventing customers from accessing their services. The disruption was caused by an unexpected infrastructure failure that lasted approximately 25.5 hours from February 25th at 18:35 UTC until February 26th. The incident was resolved after OVHcloud teams identified the root cause and completed remediation actions to restore service availability.

OVHcloud's Containers & Orchestration service in the GRA4 region experienced a major outage due to an unexpected underlying infrastructure malfunction on February 23, 2026, starting at 14:11 UTC. The incident affected all container and orchestration services in the GRA region for approximately 1.1 hours. The service was fully restored by 15:32 UTC after teams resolved the infrastructure issue.

OVHcloud experienced a major incident affecting Metal instance creation in the GRA11 and UK1 regions due to an unexpected underlying infrastructure malfunction, lasting approximately 114.6 hours from February 20-25, 2026. Customers were unable to create new Metal instances or create instances from snapshots in these regions during the outage. The incident was fully resolved with all services restored, including Metal instance creation and snapshot-based instance creation functionality.
