The Integrated Report Suspicious feature in Proofpoint Security Awareness stopped working with Classic Outlook version 2602 due to a regression in Microsoft's latest release, affecting PhishAlarm services across U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific regions for 87.6 hours. Proofpoint identified the root cause as an issue with Classic Outlook for Windows on the "Current" release channel and developed a workaround solution. The issue was resolved after Proofpoint deployed their fix to all environments, requiring affected users to restart their Outlook clients to apply the solution.
This issue has been resolved. We are seeing successful usage of Integrated Report Suspicious with the previously impacted version of Outlook.
Proofpoint has tested and released the solution for Integrated Report Suspicious on Classic Outlook to all environments.
Affected users will need to restart their Outlook clients for the fix to take effect.
