Ryft experienced elevated payment processing errors with one of their primary acquirers, causing increased payment failures and affecting the Payments API. Traffic was rerouted to backup acquirers to restore service while approval rates gradually improved. The incident was resolved after 1.1 hours once traffic was fully restored across all acquirers.

Ryft's Payments API experienced elevated errors between 14:15-14:40 UTC on March 13th, 2026, causing payment processing issues and delayed webhooks for affected transactions. While the API returned to normal operation shortly after the initial incident window, the full restoration of impacted payments and transactions took approximately 93 hours to complete. All affected payments were ultimately restored and made visible in the dashboard by March 17th.
