Outage Details

There is an Omnichannel Inventory service disruption. During a disruption, end users can’t access the service. Some Salesforce Order Management and B2C Commerce Cloud features may also be unavailable or run at less than optimal performance. We are investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

At 21:19 UTC on March 6, 2023, the Salesforce Technology team noted a service disruption impacting the Commerce Cloud OmniChannel Inventory service. Customer Storefronts that leverage this service may be experiencing time-out errors during checkout.

The team identified the potential trigger as being related to a database resource contention. They have initiated action to alleviate the contention and will assess its effectiveness in the next 10-15 minutes.
