At 13:05 UTC on February 09, 2024, the Salesforce Technology team noted a feature degradation impacting Salesforce Chat. Customers may experience issues with various activities, including, but not limited to agent activity, chat assignment, and accepting chats.
Initial investigations highlighted issues with backend app servers. The team restarted these servers, but the impact remained. Following this, database issues were noted, and a database failover was initiated. The failover did not provide the desired results, and the team is exploring alternative resolution paths.
We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.
