At 10:44 UTC, on February 26, 2023, the Salesforce Technology team became aware of a service disruption impacting NA218. The issue impacted customer’s ability to log in and access the Salesforce services. Upon investigation, the team determined that the possible trigger was a memory failure which prevented the database from working as expected. The issue was resolved after 5 minutes of service disruption by restarting the impacted database. As a precautionary measure, the teams have performed a database switch followed by a rolling restart. Switching from the primary to the secondary database will result in a temporary additional period of service disruption.
