Upon further investigation, the Salesforce Technology team has determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We have now revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.

Investigations have revealed an issue on the server side. The teams are determining which steps they can take to mitigate the impact.

At 09:50 UTC, on October 9, 2024, the Salesforce Technology team began receiving alerts of a performance degradation impacting Core services. Customer workflows may not be functioning as expected as data cannot be queried/stored correctly. Users may also experience issues accessing Custom Big Objects, Chatbots, Login Forensics, and Field Audit Trail, may also be impacted.
