Feature Degradation

We are continuing our mitigation activities. We have clarified the cause as a misconfiguration that has flooded affected instances with an unintendedly high volume of emails, which has caused congestion and slowness across email services. We have been able to stop the original activity that caused the issue, and are now focused on managing the backlog of emails. Once this is complete, we expect capacity to be restored and email services to return to usual performance levels. It is unclear exactly how long this will take.
