MuleSoft experienced a performance degradation affecting the Secrets Manager Provider and API, preventing customers from deploying or restarting applications due to inability to retrieve secrets during the process. The issue specifically impacted the runtime manager in the US control plane, with hybrid on-premises customers unable to deploy or redeploy applications through Application Manager, while currently running applications continued operating normally. After 3.6 hours, the service was restored to normal operating levels following successful validation and testing of the implemented fix.
