We have currently identified an issue affecting Azure invoicing for customers in the USA. Impact Level:  Partial Outage We’ve identified an issue affecting Azure invoicing for customers based in the United States. Some invoices may currently show lower-than-expected charges due to missing usage data from May. Please note: Your actual Azure usage is not impacted and continues to be tracked accurately. The discrepancy is limited to how usage is currently reflected in invoices. Current Status We’ve confirmed that this issue stems from a Microsoft billing data integration failure, where May usage data was not delivered by Microsoft as expected. Our team is actively working with Microsoft to: Restore the missing usage data Ensure invoices are updated to reflect accurate billing Next Update: We will continue to monitor progress and provide our next update by 1:45pm EDT.

We’ve identified an issue affecting Azure invoicing for customers based in the United States. Some invoices may currently show lower-than-expected charges due to missing usage data from May.




Please note:





Your actual Azure usage is not impacted and continues to be tracked accurately.




The discrepancy is limited to how usage is currently reflected in invoices.












Current Status







We’ve confirmed that this issue stems from a Microsoft billing data integration failure, where May usage data was not delivered by Microsoft as expected.




Our team is actively working with Microsoft to:





Restore the missing usage data




Ensure invoices are updated to reflect accurate billing

An email communication was sent to all impacted accounts about this issue yesterday afternoon. Once the issue is resolved, an additional invoice will be generated to reflect the accurate charges. This invoice will include a detailed breakdown of the Azure usage in the Azure Usage Details tab.

Current Progress: Implementing Fix


Microsoft has deployed a fix addressing the billing data integration failure. Our team is now actively processing the recovered usage data and synchronizing it with our services to ensure accurate billing, while continuing to investigate reports of higher-than-expected charges.


Customers with invoices generated after June 24, 2026, may notice higher-than-expected charges. Our team is actively working on implementing a fix for this issue, and we will share further updates as they become available. Current Progress: Implementing Fix





O
ur team is in the process of generating complementary invoices for impacted customers. These invoices are expected to be available to affected customers by the end of the day through Cumulus. 
Please note that this process may take several hours to complete.  An update will be posted once the invoices are available.


An email was sent to impacted customers on June 29 regarding invoices generated after June 24 that reflected higher-than-expected charges, along with additional details on the situation.
