Intermittent Azure Front Door/CDN Issues in East US

We want to inform you that Microsoft Azure is currently experiencing intermittent issues impacting a small subset of customers using Azure Front Door and Azure CDN Standard in the East US region. This may result in 504 errors for certain cached traffic.
Most retry attempts are successful, and Microsoft has already provisioned additional capacity while deploying further optimisations.
Recovery has begun for some customers, and their engineering team is closely monitoring the situation to ensure full resolution.

We want to let you know that the Azure Front Door and Azure CDN Standard issue in the East US region has been resolved.
The problem had caused some 504 errors earlier, but Microsoft has fixed it by adding capacity and making optimisations.
Services are now back to normal, and their team is monitoring to ensure stability.
