Online Store Disruption

The disruption impacting Square Online services has been resolved. We know how important service functionality is to your business and how detrimental disruptions can be. Thank you for your continued patience while we worked to resolve this issue.

Engineering has confirmed that webhook events for Square Online and third-party integrations orders are currently stuck in a pending state.

For Sellers, this means that any order notifications communicating a status update (E.g. online order being changed from Pending to Shipped) will be delayed. This includes in-app notifications and SMS communications. However, Sellers will be still able to view accurate order information from their Orders page within the Square app or via their online Square Dashboard.

Our Engineering teams are working to push through these pending webhook events over the next 24 hours.

We will continue monitoring until we can confirm that the issues impacting order status update notifications have been fully resolved.
