TC2000 cannot connect to the server. Even after multiple tries it connect, it does not functioning as expected. For example, the some industry components are empty, the alert list is empty, drawing on charts are missing

I am a swing trader so want to see closing candle data at the end of trading. When attempting to start TC2000 I keep getting "cannot connect" followed by suggestion to open an earlier version, which I then click on. After that, nothing happens. Maybe timezone is an issue as it's 9 am in Australia...
