The Tessian EU service experienced gateway connection issues where Proofpoint Inbound and Outbound gateways were rejecting connections from Google Workspace (Gsuite), causing email delays for affected customers over a 24.6-hour period. Customers using Google Workspace as their email environment reported increased connection problems and mail flow disruptions. The issue was resolved when Google applied mitigation to a parallel Gmail incident they were experiencing, with mail flow resuming after 20:00 UTC, and customers were advised they could re-enable their previously disabled routing rules.
