Transcoding backlog causing drop in Yield-Op Delivery and flight start delivery delay

Mitigation efforts have been applied to the transcoding mechanisms and initial monitoring is showing they have proven successful.
The issue caused a transcoding backlog which also prevented flights to start properly. All transcoding tasks were performed and the backlog is now empty.
Flights / Campaigns, including past flights / campaigns, are now transcoding and have started to deliver normally.
Yield-Op delivery rates should also return to normal.
We will be monitoring the situation closely.

Please note that this issue can also affect creative upload in Tap (Legacy). When this happens, users might be confronted with an error stating the "The file could not be uploaded, please contact Triton Digital customer support." We suggest waiting for a few minutes and retrying the creative upload.

We are extending the effect of this issue to all our ad delivery components, notably Tap. This issue is affecting creatives that have been set to start delivering as of Monday May 23 around 04:00 UTC or later. This will cause flights / campaigns set to start May 23rd or later to have a delay before they start delivering while our system is trying to transcode the creatives. It is possible that users will see certain flights not delivering at all. Eventually, as our transcoding mechanisms work through the accumulated backlog of requests, the creatives will be transcoded and become available, which will result in impressions. The system should compensate for the delayed starts by adjusting pacing and complete the impression goals.
Note that this issue does not affect flights having started to deliver prior to May 23rd.

We have identified an issue with our ad transcoding mechanism which is affecting ads from the Yield-Op Ad Network. The issue started to affect delivery Monday May 23 around 04:00 UTC.
Clients may see a decrease in delivery rates from what they are normally used to.
