Outage Details

We are investigating an issue with our alerting mechanism where false alerts are being sent. The alerts give the impression that metadata for a station is not being insetted when in reality there is no metadata issue. More information to come.

The issue was identified as being a result of the data processing incident in our Montreal Data centre (https://tritonstatus.statuspage.io/incidents/56vtfp0pynbk). Because of the delay in processing messaging, the monitoring mechanisms responsible for alerting metadata could not report their status and therefore the system was mistakenly thinking that metadata was not being sent for certain stations.
Note that Console Station monitoring might show improper information as a result of this incident.
Metadata alerting and Console UI information will return to normal once the processing backlog is complete. We estimate 2-3 hours left in processing.
