A newer version of the "Zoom and Zoom plug-in for Outlook" program has been added to the Software Center which will remediate this issue.
Users who are still experiencing the issue of Zoom prompting for administrator credentials should restart their computer. Once restarted, the new version of Zoom should be installed automatically when the computer is next asleep or locked but still connected to the internet.
The latest Zoom client could also be installed manually by first uninstalling "Zoom and Zoom plug-in for Outlook" through Software Center then re-installing it.
Some Zoom users on Windows clients may have experienced a problem where Zoom requests to perform an update, but is unable to complete. This would prevent users from using the Zoom application to attend or schedule Zoom meetings until the update is completed.
The cause of this issue has been identified and a remediation is in progress of being deployed. The update will happen automatically and no action should be required of the user.
