Information Technology Services (ITS) has confirmed that the fiber cut has been repaired and network access is functioning normally at this time.
In the event that you experience any further issues with network access, please contact the ITS Service Desk at helpdesk@usg.edu or 706-583-2001.
There has been a fiber cut on the southwest ring between Americus and ABAC. Communications Consulting Group (CCG) is in contact with Accelecom for resolution.
Sites affected: Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) and Valdosta State University (VAL) are running in protect. No other sites are affected.
