Our monitoring system has alerted us to a potential service issue affecting the WhatsApp Embedded sign-up flow. Users may experience below errors when attempting to register their WhatsApp numbers via embedded sign-up or hosted embedded sign-up. Embedded signup: We were unable to connect to Meta. Please try again later. Hosted Embedded signup: The signup process failed with the following error: Internal Error. We are actively working with Meta Engineering teams to investigate and resolve the issues. We aim to provide an update on our investigation within 1 hour. We have implemented a fix for this issue.

Customers may have experienced errors when attempting to register their WhatsApp numbers via embedded sign-up or hosted embedded sign-up.

The list of impacted services has been confirmed as follows:

Embedded signup using Vonage Dashboard: Error - "We were unable to connect to Meta. Please try again later"
Hosted Embedded signup: Error - "The signup process failed with the following error: Internal Error"
