We’re looking into an issue that’s affecting the following service for some users. Authentication API Some users that logged in between 7:15am and 10:00am GMT may have experienced a Bad Request error. We have applied a fix to this issue and access has been restored for these users. We are monitoring this situation to confirm this incident has been fully resolved.

OpenAthens service desk - operating hours on 23 and 24 January
Due to team training and public holidays, our service desk operating hours will be shorter than usual in the early part of next week. On Monday 23 January, we will be open between 09:00 - 17:30 UK time. On Tuesday 24 January, we will be open between 07:00 - 22:00 UK time. We will be resuming our usual operating hours of 02:00 - 22:00 UK time from Wednesday 25 January. Don't forget that you can always access our self-service portal 24 hours a day, to raise new queries or to check on existing ones.

On Tuesday 29 November our service desk opening hours will be 02:00 – 17:30 UK time, so that we can bring our excellent customer support team together for a day. We’ll return to our normal opening hours of 02:00 – 22:00 from Wednesday 30 November.

We wish to advise our customers that due to a team away day, our service desk opening hours on Wednesday 28 September will be 02:00-17:00 BST. Telephone service may be limited during this time so please use our self-service portal wherever possible. Our usual opening hours of 02:00-22:00 BST will resume from Thursday 29 September.
