Vimeo videos were not playing correctly in Rise 360 courses, affecting both new courses in the authoring tool and previously published courses in LMS platforms. The issue was caused by a third-party service (Embedly) that Rise 360 uses to render embedded Vimeo content. The incident was resolved after 50 hours when the third-party provider fixed the issue, with users able to restore normal video playback by clearing browser cache or republishing courses.
