A network device in Equinix Metal's Chicago (CH3) facility experienced an unexpected restart, affecting the Equinix Metal Network and ORD1 Provisioning services for 23 minutes. Customers with bonded interfaces experienced reduced redundancy and throughput, while those with unbonded configurations encountered packet loss during the device recovery. The device fully recovered with MLAG bonds restored, returning all services to normal operation.

Equinix Metal experienced a shared interconnection issue affecting some users' primary circuits in the PA Metro area. The incident impacted the Equinix Metal Network and lasted approximately 10 minutes. A fix was implemented and the issue was resolved after monitoring confirmed the solution was effective.
