Idura Outage History

The Idura service experienced a major incident where Norwegian BankID signing requests failed due to issues with the CSC Signing API provided by BankID/Stø, with error rates starting at 10% and eventually reaching 100% failure. All Norwegian BankID signing functionality was unavailable for users during the outage. The incident was resolved after 58 minutes when BankID implemented a fix for their API.

Idura's Signatures product experienced a high error rate for 12.5 hours due to outages with their TSA and QES provider Stø/BankID. The incident affected all signing operations initially, with TSA services restored around 22:15 CEST and BankID signing services restored around 05:27 CEST. BankID reported the outage was caused by maintenance activities.

The Danish Address Lookup service in Idura experienced a 2.4-hour outage caused by issues at the external provider CPR-kontoret, which affected multiple customers. The provider acknowledged the problem and worked on a fix without providing an estimated resolution time. The issue was resolved when CPR-kontoret restored their services.

Users experienced connection failures to Criipto.id domains, affecting Criipto Signatures and Criipto Verify Authentication Core services for 1.8 hours. The issue was identified as a faulty network location in Azure that impacted multiple network locations, while mobile connections remained unaffected throughout the incident. The network issue was resolved and the service was restored to normal operation.

The Idura Verify service experienced degraded authentication functionality for 3.2 hours due to issues with underlying infrastructure components. During a 9-minute window, a system component exhibited intermittent erroneous behavior, causing 25 logins to fail. The incident was resolved after monitoring confirmed stable system behavior.

MitID's Danish authentication service experienced instability affecting both web sites and API services for 5.1 hours on March 31, 2026. IN Groupe identified the production infrastructure issues and worked to resolve the problem throughout the incident. The service was fully restored by 14:27 local time.

The Idura service experienced a complete outage of its Criipto Signatures component for approximately 1 hour (12:57 to 14:00 CET) due to failures in the underlying TSA (Time Stamping Authority) service provider. The incident was resolved when the TSA provider fixed their issues, restoring signature functionality and returning error rates to normal levels. The total incident duration was 3.1 hours including monitoring time to ensure stability.

MitID, Denmark's digital identity service, experienced a complete outage for 59 minutes due to issues at the provider INGroupe. The outage affected all MitID authentication services across Denmark. The service was restored and became operational again after the provider resolved the underlying issues.
