The root cause of the service degradation affecting Kubernetes Control Planes in FRA has been identified as a DDoS attack targeting customers hosted on our infrastructure. This incident has been documented here:

The identified bottleneck led to the observed intermittent reachability issues and increased latency between Kubernetes etcd nodes for the affected customers.
