The MeridianLink Portal experienced an issue where required custom questions were being submitted as blank responses to ML Consumer/Opening instead of capturing user input. This affected the Portal App's ability to properly process form submissions with mandatory custom fields. The technical team identified the root cause, implemented a hotfix with minimal downtime, and resolved the incident after 6.4 hours of monitoring.
