WordPress Performance Issues - Post WP Core 6.4 Release

This issue has been resolved.

The stop gap fix we issued through our Nexcess MU plugin was able to resolve issues yesterday, until WordPress released their 6.4.1 patch. WordPress did release that patch yesterday.

Our team will be turning core updates back on this morning as the patch can now be utilized.

Wordpress has officially released version 6.4.1 fixing (patching) the issues released in version 6.4. If you have auto-updates enabled in your WP installation it should automatically update overnight. Our Engineering team has identified and implemented a stopgap via the Nexcess MU plugin. This is only a temporary measure until Wordpress releases update to 6.4.1 which is due for release later today.
