NWEA Outage History

NWEA experienced delays in displaying test data from May 14th in Class Profile, School Profile, District Profile, and Family Report sections of the MAP Growth Reports interface. The issue affected only these specific reports while all other reporting functions remained operational. The problem was resolved after 5.7 hours when test data began populating correctly in the impacted reports.

NWEA's MAP Growth platform experienced delays with assessment and item loading that affected student testing over an 8-day period. Users encountered login delays and slow item-loading during test sessions, though testing was generally able to proceed. The issue was resolved after teams identified and addressed the underlying cause, with the platform returning to normal operation and remaining stable through a monitoring period.

NWEA experienced a text-to-speech functionality issue affecting MAP Growth Student Testing that prevented the feature from working as expected. During the incident, students could use the finger pointer TTS feature as a workaround by clicking into items to have them read aloud. The issue was resolved after 1.8 hours, with clearing browser cache recommended for any students still experiencing problems.
