This incident has been resolved.

We have been monitoring this service overnight and have seen significant improvement in the stability of the service. Users will no longer see 403 forbidden errors when logging into any services via the redirector.

We are keeping a close eye on things, if the situation changes we will keep you up to date.

OpenAthens is still experiencing issues with our Redirector service. This means that you may be unable to access certain resources until the issue has been fully mitigated. For these resources you will see a 403 forbidden error.

We are still investigating an outage affecting the OpenAthens Redirector. Please bear with us while we work on a resolution to the issue.

We have applied a fix to the issue at 14:22 GMT, everything is working as expected and all services are up and running.
