Outage Details

Our engineers are currently investigating an issue with the payment method PayPal for both Paddle Classic and Paddle Billing for both checkout and subscription payments due to an outage on PayPal's end.

At around 11:25am UTC we started to see an increase in PayPal failure responses, followed by an outage of the payment method PayPal at around 11:34am UTC. All customers who have enabled PayPal as a payment method are affected and currently cannot take payments via PayPal.
Buyers who are trying to checkout via PayPal will receive an error which states: "unable to take payment, please try another payment method".

Other payment methods remain unaffected.

To avoid customers experiencing an issue when checking out, we have disabled PayPal as a payment method for the duration of the outage on PayPal's end for all customers unless PayPal is the only payment method for the account.

We will monitor the situation with PayPal and will enable the payment method as soon as it's functional again.
We appreciate your patience during this incident and apologise for the disruption to our service.
