Issue with Sales Tax on Subscription Renewals

We're actively investigating an issue where a small subset of subscription renewals may have been impacted by an unintentional change to sales tax. To mitigate any concerns, we’ve temporarily paused all subscription renewals.

This issue only affects renewals scheduled on or after 29 July 2025, and only for a limited number of subscriptions. We’re working to identify the root cause and restore normal service as soon as possible.

We're continuing to work on resolving the issue affecting a small number of subscription renewals scheduled on or after July 29, 2025.

To prevent further impact, we've temporarily paused all subscription renewals in Paddle Billing. During this pause, renewal events are still being captured in a backlog and will be processed once renewals are re-enabled. This means subscriptions due for renewal during this time will renew slightly later than expected, but no renewal will be lost.

We’ve confirmed that this issue does not affect all sellers and is limited to a small subset of subscriptions. Our team is actively working on a resolution and we’ll share further updates as we make progress.
