Customers are out of service disruption as of 10:33 UTC, after the failover was performed. However, a subset of customers may continue to experience performance degradation while accessing our services. During this time the services are accessible, but some functionality within the service may not be available or running at optimal performance. Customers can experience general and intermittent slow performance, timeouts, and connectivity issues. The Salesforce Technology team continues to closely monitor the performance levels on the instance.

The Salesforce Technology team is aware of the service disruption impacting the IND27 instance within Salesforce production environment. During this time end users can’t access the services. After investigating, the team noted potential issues at the database tier and decided to failover the services to backup database nodes to resolve the issue. Initial reports after the failover are indicating positive outcomes. We will continue monitoring the performance levels for a brief duration before declaring an all-clear.
