There's a Salesforce service performance degradation. While the service is still accessible, users who are utilizing the .mil domain naming system (DNS) may experience intermittent delays, timeouts, or connectivity issues. We're investigating the issue and an update will be provided within 30 minutes with more information.

We’re working with a .mil Domain Name System (DNS) provider to identify a trigger for the intermittent spikes in degraded performance. Investigations so far have not surfaced any underlying issues from within Salesforce infrastructure.

While the incident is ongoing, customers may experience short periods of daily degraded performance at around 02:30 and 13:30 UTC. The impact usually lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. Once the incident is resolved, we will update Trust to list all impact windows.

We advise that impacted customers continue to create a support case with your .mil DNS provider to help expedite the resolution.

Investigations have highlighted that customers may experience short, intermittent, repeated impact periods of performance degradation. Typically, the impact lasts approximately 20-30 minutes and occurs twice daily. Due to the nature of this impact, this Trust posting will remain live until resolution. Our focus remains on triaging and exploring multiple potential resolution paths, which may take some time to complete.

We'll provide further updates once more information becomes available throughout this extended investigation phase.
