The Salesforce Technology team, in collaboration with the third-party service provider, has identified a recent configuration change as the likely trigger of the message delivery issue.
The Technology team is working closely with the provider and is preparing the necessary steps to roll back the recent change and restore the service.

Upon further investigation, the Salesforce Technology team has determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We have now revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.

At 00:25 UTC on June 5, 2025, the Salesforce Technology team became aware of a feature degradation affecting the Outbound Messages functionality. A subset of customers may experience delivery failures when sending outbound SMS messages. Multiple teams are actively investigating and working on resolution paths.
