There’s a Salesforce service performance degradation. Users can access the Salesforce service, but some functionality can be unavailable or running at less than optimal performance. General and intermittent slow performance, timeouts, and connectivity issues are possible. We are continuing to monitor the progress of the restarts following the site switch. We have identified a feature disruption impacting a subset of customers using Email-to-case which was triggered following the site switch which was performed as a mitigation step for this incident. The site switch has completed as of approximately 10:15 UTC, and a restart of the instances is underway. During this time, customers may experience a trailing performance degradation. General and intermittent slow performance, timeouts, and connectivity issues are possible.

This incident is related to a previous issue which was communicated via the Trust post here: https://status.salesforce.com/incidents/10014319 . The instances had returned to a healthy state for a period of time but then re-entered impact. You will receive future communications about this issue through this Trust post.

We have begun the site switch, which, as per the site switch process, has introduced a service disruption. We are monitoring as the site switch progresses and will provide the next update within 30 minutes or sooner if new information becomes available.
