Upon further investigation, the Salesforce Technology team has determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We have now revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.
Further investigation has highlighted that the impact is not service disruption, but performance degradation. We received reports that a subset of customers may experience intermittent failures while logging in to their sandbox instances. To resolve the issue, we are in the process of performing a rollback to a stable version of the recent release. During the rollback activity on the list of instances that received the recent release, there may be a potential intermittent impact on login activity for customers.
We’ll provide an update in 60 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.
Investigations have highlighted that the impact radius is broader than initially understood. We have updated the posting to reflect the additional instances experiencing impact, and customers in these instances will receive communications related to this incident going forward.
We have completed the rollback on USA260s, USA270s, and USA892s. The rollback is progressing steadily, and we are receiving positive responses from customers. This activity is taking longer than expected, but we continue monitoring it closely.
We’ll provide an update in 60 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.
We have initiated rollback on the rest of the impacted instances. This activity should take approximately 40 minutes to complete. We have also halted the release from being deployed elsewhere.
We’ll provide an update in 45 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

We're performing a rollback of the recent release on a test instance. We expect this to take 30 minutes to complete and validate. If this proves successful, we'll roll back all the instances that have received the release to bring them out of impact.
We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.
