There’s a feature degradation impacting Salesforce Data Cloud. During a feature degradation, some features are unavailable or run at less than optimal performance. We’re investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information. The team is actively monitoring and working to restore the service. We’re investigating a feature degradation impacting Data Cloud in multiple instances. A subset of customers may experience that Secure Shell File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) activations output files with special characters in their destination paths are saved to a different folder than expected. In these cases, the special characters are replaced with hyphens (“-”) in the folder name. This may impact downstream automation for affected customers.

Our investigations have highlighted that a recent change is the trigger for this incident. We have initiated a rollback of the change, which will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete.

In the meantime, if affected customers can’t find the output files in the destination folder, please look for alternate paths where special characters are replaced with hyphens. Below is an example folder pattern to help identify the output file location.

How to identify the output folder Pattern: For the output file getting stored-
Any affected customers having “/” in their parent folder name (in Connection Setup) will have the forward slash (“/”) replaced with a hyphen (“-”) in the folder names.

Example 1:
Parent Folder: parent-folder/sub-Folder1/subfolder2
Child Folder: childFolder/subChildFolder
Expected customer SFTP Location: parent-folder/sub-Folder1/subfolder2/childFolder/subChildFolder
Changed Location because of impact: /parent-folder-sub-Folder1-subfolder2/childFolder-subChildFolder

Example 2:
Parent Folder: /parent-folder/subFolder1
Child Folder: /childFolder
Expected customer SFTP Location: /parent-folder/subFolder1/childFolder
Changed Location because of impact: /-parent-folder-subFolder1/-childFolder
