Salesforce experienced a feature disruption affecting consent-related functionality in Marketing Cloud, where customers were unable to update consent preferences, unsubscribe via Privacy Center links, or complete campaign actions that update consent status due to API call failures. The issue was caused by a recent deployment and affected multiple instances globally across regions including USA, Australia, India, Japan, Brazil, and several European countries. The incident was resolved through a deployment rollback after 23 minutes, with the team continuing to validate recovery.
We have identified a feature disruption following a recent deployment that is affecting a subset of customers within Marketing Cloud on Core Cloud.
Customers may experience issues with consent related functionality driven by API calls from the core service. Specifically, customers may be unable to update their consent preferences, including unsubscribing via Privacy Center links. Additionally, campaign related actions that attempt to update a user’s consent status may fail.
The impact is limited to specific core features related to consent updates and unsubscribe functionality. We are actively working to resolve the impact and have initiated a rollback of the deployment.
We are continuing to validate the recovery. We will provide the next update within 30 minutes or sooner as more information becomes available.
