Salesforce experienced performance degradation on POD217 and POD297 for 8.4 hours, causing intermittent slow performance, timeouts, connectivity issues, and storefront unavailability lasting 30 minutes to an hour. The issue was caused by a behavior change from a recent runtime upgrade, which affected Commerce Cloud customers with intermittent storefront outages. The incident was resolved by reverting the runtime environment to the previous version and performing non-disruptive rolling restarts, with storefronts restored by 13:41 UTC and Granular Data Replication temporarily disabled during the fix.

We will provide an update once the restarts are complete, or sooner if additional information becomes available.
