Degraded performance of FutureLearn site

We are currently experiencing some problems with FutureLearn and are investigating the cause. This may mean you find it difficult to sign in or the site may load slowly for you, or fail to load. Our technical team are working on the problem right now and we hope to be back to normal soon.

We have an ongoing issue with video playback across several browsers which is currently being investigated, and which we hope to have resolved shortly. Malicious attack causing stability of site

At 06:47 (UTC) we were alerted to a huge amount of traffic being flooded to the site. This appears to be malicious traffic sent in an extremely high volume. We have taken steps to protect against the stability of the site.
