Resolved API Connection Errors, Mail Send Delays, and Site Unavailability
Starting around 12:39PM MT, we are experiencing issues with API connections, mail send delays, and site unavailability. Customers may receive 5xx errors when making API calls, including mail send. Customers may also notice mail send delays, including Marketing Campaigns. Also, customers may have difficulty accessing our site at app.sendgrid.com. Our engineers are investigating the issue. We will provide updates in the next 30 minutes or sooner as they become available.
Resolved Service Disruption: Network Connectivity Issues
As of 10am MT, our engineers are investigating errors in one of our datacenters. Customers may experience timeout and 500 errors when trying to connect to our APIs and SMTP. Sender authentication as well as click-tracking may be impacted. Customers may also experience issues when accessing the legacy marketing-campaigns services via UI. Our engineers are actively investigating the situation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Resolved Service Disruption - Delays in Segment-Based Marketing Campaigns Automation Emails
Around 12PM MT, our Engineering teams became aware of an issue where a small number of customers have the potential to see duplicate emails sent to their contacts via the Automations feature when attached to a contact segment. Our Engineers are working on a fix to mitigate this issue and in the meantime, customers may see delays in segment-based automation emails and may also experience delays when updating segments. We will provide an update within the next 60 minutes or less as updates become available.

Resolved Technical Incident - Some SendGrid System Generated Emails Resulting in Certificate Errors
Engineers are currently investigating reports that customers are receiving SendGrid system generated emails resulting in Certificate errors when included links are clicked. At this time we do not believe this has any impact on any customer initiated sends, this appears to be exclusive to some SendGrid system emails such as password resets, teammate invites, contact exports etc. We will provide an update within the next 60 minutes, or less as updates become available. Resolved Technical Incident - Increased 500 Errors Using Email Activity Feed
Between approximately 1:42 PM and 2:12 PM Mountain Time, one of our third party providers experienced an outage. Symptoms Twilio SendGrid customers may have experienced during this time frame would have been increased 500 errors when making use of the Email Activity Feed. All of our affected systems are caught up and processing requests normally once again, but we will continue to monitor the situation. Resolved Service Disruption - New Marketing Campaigns Signup Form Submissions Failing for a Small Subset of Customers
Our engineers have identified an issue with New Marketing Campaigns Signup Forms, where forms submitted with values for Custom Fields of type "date", "number" or "alternate email addresses" did not result in the addition of the contact to the associated list. This would affect any forms using those field types, created on or after 12/8/20. Any forms submitted during this time that did not contain values of type "date", "number" or "alternate email addresses", would have worked as expected. We will provide updates every 60 minutes or sooner, if information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
