Equinix SMC received the replacement line card at 1800 UTC and worked with the equipment vendor to put it in production, however the new card was found to be faulty. A second RMA has been processed and is expected to arrive on 20-May-2024. Equinix SMC will continue to follow-up on the arrival of the new card..

To mitigate this issue Equinix engineers manually re-routed traffic off the failed line card. Unprotected customers may still experience LOS. The RMA process for the faulty equipment has begun, and a replacement is expected to arrive 5/18/2024. More updates to come.
