Equinix SMC has identified a fiber cut incident impacting the SE Metro area. Customers with unprotected circuits are facing service outages. The dark fiber provider has dispatched a repair crew to re-splice fibers at the suspected damage location.
They advised that the repair crew's ETA is 22 February at 0100 hrs PST / 0900 UTC. The next update will be provided once there is a significant update from the provider..
