May 2026: Phishing Simulation Campaign issue
A system update to Proofpoint Security Awareness caused phishing simulation campaigns to fail, affecting campaign scheduling and delivery across US, Asia Pacific, and Europe regions for over 5 days. Campaigns in pending/created states with past start dates failed to begin and send emails, while in-progress campaigns stopped sending additional emails after the update. The issue has been resolved with improved monitoring, and customers need to clone failed campaigns or create new ones targeting users who didn't receive emails.
