The Salesforce Technology team is implementing a workaround configuration change to restore services to all affected sandboxes imminently. Meanwhile, a long-term solution is being worked on to address the incident trigger. A root cause analysis will be prepared for this incident.

Our team confirmed that the configuration change made in one of the sandbox orgs showed a positive outcome and currently working on other impacted orgs to proceed with the same configuration change as a workaround for now. The team is still working on a long-term fix which is currently under investigation.

The Technology team has identified a potential trigger for the issue as a network configuration mismatch with the third-party Content Delivery Network (CDN) vendor. The teams are exploring multiple paths to resolution. We are also formulating a potential workaround to restore service sooner. We continue to update the list of impacted instances as the investigation progresses.

Investigations have highlighted that the impact radius is broader than initially understood. We have updated the posting to reflect the additional instances experiencing impact, and customers in these instances will receive communications related to this incident going forward. The investigation to identify impacted instances continues to progress and we will update them as they come. Meanwhile, the Technology team is discussing a potential workaround to restore the functionality and is working on the implementation.

On September 02, 2024, at 11:56 UTC, our Salesforce Technology team began investigating an Experience Cloud feature disruption on multiple sandbox instances. Customers are unable to access their Experience Cloud site (my.site.com). This issue impacts sandbox instances only; production instances are working as expected. This list of impacted instances is still under investigation. We will update the list as investigations progress.
