January 14, 2026 - Started 2 days ago

Incident Report

Issue: On January 14, 2026, at 23:52 UTC, we became aware of an issue impacting sandboxes currently on Release 260. Apex test classes involving platform events are failing. This is a regression in platform events. We are preparing a fix to deploy shortly after the ongoing R0 major release completes. Impact: Customers cannot complete certain deployments within sandbox orgs or deploy from one sandbox org to another.

We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue and are performing internal validations. To ensure successful development and complete verification, we now aim to deploy this via an Emergency Release to all sandboxes on version 260.3.1, immediately following this weekend's scheduled Spring ‘26 major release.

We'll provide an update once the fix has been deployed.
