Webex Contact Center experienced a 25-hour incident where agents intermittently failed to log in, initially affecting the US region before expanding globally, with real-time performance reports also failing to update agent states. Workarounds included closing and reopening the browser after two minutes or supervisors forcing agent logouts via Webex Control Hub. Engineering completed remediation on July 16, 2026, restoring full service stability.

Engineering has identified the root cause of the intermittent login failures. While initial reports indicated the issue was limited to the US region, further investigation has confirmed that the impact now extends to all regions. At this time, no further back-end corrective actions are scheduled.
To resolve this, customers must implement one of the following workarounds:
- Close your browser, wait two minutes, and then attempt to log in again.
- Supervisors or Administrators can execute a forced log out for affected agents in Webex Control Hub.
If impacted customers wish to continue with granular agent state control prior to the general release of this feature, please note that your organization administrator must enable the feature for your organization in Webex Control Hub. It is advised to enable this feature outside normal business hours.
