Zscaler is currently investigating reports of an issue with its Kuala Lumpur I, Seoul I, Singapore IV, Singapore V, Tokyo IV, Tokyo V datacenter. The disruption is due to multiple undersea fiber cuts in the region, which are impacting downstream transit providers that serve the affected data centers. These subsea cable issues, caused by physical damage outside of Zscaler’s control, are affecting many providers across the region. Zscaler teams are actively working to mitigate the impact by: Coordinating with global carriers to reroute and optimize traffic paths.Collaborating with cloud providers to enhance performance.Monitoring network conditions to make real-time adjustments. Repair operations on the damaged cables are being scheduled, but timelines for completion remain uncertain. We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
