USPS incorrectly marking packages as “Return to Sender”
Yesterday, we identified an issue with USPS marking some packages as “Return to Sender”, right before marking the same package as “Delivered”. We are currently working with our integration partner to determine why they are sending this event for packages that have been successfully delivered. Customers using Return to Sender flows with our integrations may be affected, causing some shoppers to receive Return to Sender notifications for USPS packages that were successfully delivered. We recommend that customers using Return to Sender flows disable them until the issue is resolved. Customers using the Problem Orders feature may see higher than average Returned to Sender numbers on the Problem Orders report. We will keep this post updated as we work to resolve the issue.

Delayed Order Created & Shipment Created Events
Earlier today, we identified an interruption to our Shopify integration beginning at 10:40am ET which impacted events received from Shopify. Our Malomo: ShopifyOrderCreated metric was not being sent to our app integrations as expected. If you trigger Klaviyo email or SMS notifications off the Malomo: ShopifyOrderCreated or Malomo: ShipmentCreated metrics, you were likely affected by this interruption. At 4:30pm ET, we implemented a fix and are currently monitoring the situation. Shopify orders that were placed today (October 24) between 10:40am ET and 4:30pm ET will see delayed Order Confirmation updates as our system catches up this evening. Orders placed after after 4:30pm ET will see immediate updates, as expected. Our team will continue to monitor the situation over the next 24 hours.

Order Confirmation Interruption
Earlier today, we identified an interruption to our Order Confirmation event data. Our Malomo: ShopifyOrderCreated metric was not being sent to our app integrations as expected. Orders that were placed earlier today (August 1), did not receive our Malomo: ShopifyOrderCreated metric. At 5pm ET, we implemented a fix and we are currently monitoring the situation. Shopify orders that were placed today (August 1) before 5pm ET will see delayed Order Confirmation updates as our system catches up this evening. Orders placed after 5pm ET will see immediate updates, as expected. Last Wednesday, July 27, we implemented a safeguard in our system to ensure we were preventing notifications from triggering inadvertently, however, that safeguard was incorrectly filtering order confirmation notifications for the first of the month.
