We’re currently investigating an issue causing 503 errors on API and storefront requests. This includes degraded performance on some storefronts and failures for API requests. Our team is working to identify the root cause and restore normal service as quickly as possible.

BigCommerce engineers were notified of an issue causing HTTP 503 errors over the API at approximately 11:57 UTC. A fix completed rolling out at 17:27 UTC and we no longer observed HTTP 503 errors over the API and all systems are fully operational.

BigCommerce engineers have completed deploying a fix across the platform and are no longer observing HTTP 503 errors for API requests. We will continue to provide updates as they come through.
